Networking

Networking with friends, relatives, neighbors and other job seekers is an important part of a job search.  Telling everyone you know what kind of job you are looking for is a great start - attending networking events will help even more!  Below are some opportunities to network and a workshop to help you learn how networking can assist you in looking for work:

Career Café

Career Café is a weekly networking event designed to connect people who are in search of employment.

At the Career Café you will:

  • Meet other people who are also looking for work
  • Share job leads and ideas concerning your job search
  • Learn job search techniques
  • Learn about area services available to people looking for work
  • Share your knowledge and experience with other job seekers.

Career Café is held every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. (New start time effective February 2017) at 2400 Glenwood Avenue in Joliet. The coffee is on us!  Reserve your seat today by calling Mary at 815.727.5679 or email mgajcak@willcountyillinois.com
